Take up White Blood Cell’s Burden
Send forth the best immunity
Go send your defenders to exile
To serve your master’s needs
*
To wait in a heavy battle filled with blood
Antibodies left and right
Your newly caught organisms
Half died, half lived
*
Take up the White Blood Cell’s Burden
In patience to protect
To prepare for a short life
and check the health status of your master
*
By open wounds and spilled comrades
A million times they die
To seek the ultimate victory
And continuously persevere until the 20th day
*
Take up the White Blood Cell’s Burden
And succumb to a life of chaos
The never-ending conflict of those you could care less
The bitter death of those you forget about
The cry of those you don’t hear
*
Take up the White Blood Cell’s Burden
Awesome interpretation on a small organism that has a lot of burdens! It is easy to forget what amazing things something so small can do.

I love how everyone, including myself, os doing it on being an introvert, a procrastinator, etc and you choose to write it about a white blood cell. I love how it turns a little WBC into a significant hardworking cell. This also happens aligns perfectly with our current unit in anatomy. Good job π

I absolutely lovvvvveeee this parody!! It is so funny and educational at the same time. I would never ever want to be a white blood cell. Imagine all the friends they loose. π Anyways, this was great, and I might just have to use it to study for the anatomy test. π€©
